The University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC) has been providing quality study abroad programs for over 30 years. Our Turin, Italy, program -- celebrating its 25th year in 2012 -- is particularly unique and is offered during the summer, semester and the year. Turin, home to the 2006 Winter Olympics, is a bustling urban center of one million people. On this program you may choose from 3 diverse academic areas: International Business, Art / Architecture / Design and Italian cultural studies / language. The city's rich combination of old and new styles makes it the perfect location to study art, architecture and design. It is an excellent program to meet Italian and European students and business people in a leading industrial center for European business and business education. You also have the opportunity to study Italian language from the beginning to advanced levels. Our program in Turin combines academic coursework with practical learning, tours, business and cultural site visits and integrated cultural experiences. Internships and volunteer opportunities in various academic areas are available, as well as scholarship and aid options. In January, 2006, a second USAC program, in collaboration with the University of Tuscia, was opened in Viterbo. Its academic areas include History, Art, Environmental Studies, Italian studies/language and Music. Viterbo is a stunning Medieval town where students can learn about Italian culture in an authentic setting. All information regarding courses, activities, costs, etc. can be found on USAC's website: usac.unr.edu. |
