Description:

The UNH-in-Italy Program in Ascoli Piceno is designed for both students with little or no previous study of the Italian language and students with advanced Italian language skills. It is a fifteen-week program that operates in the fall (late August to mid-December) and repeats in the spring (late January through mid-May). Students enroll in an intensive Italian language course (required) and three elective courses, which include art history, culture, film, history, humanities, literature, political science, studio arts, and internships. Most electives are taught in English though some are offered in Italian. Advanced students may qualify for the option to take one or two courses at the University of Ascoli Piceno.
Students are housed in furnished apartments in the historical center of Ascoli Piceno. Housing is arranged by UNH-in-Italy. At the end of the program, the student receives an official University of New Hampshire transcript for accreditation purposes at his/her home institution. |
